Frequently Asked Questions
What is the
HPCA?
It is an
association of contractors that pledges professional service,
quality workmanship, and fair treatment.
Why use an
HPCA contractor?
Piece of mind.
Each member within the HPCA is carefully scrutinized, must meet
rigorous standards, and must demonstrate a history of
outstanding service. Each contractor must sign an Oath of
Excellence Pledge that obligates them to perform to the highest
standards.
What does the Oath of Excellence state?
See
Oath
What recourse
does a homeowner have should a contractor fail them?
A third party
exists that allows an unhappy homeowner to lodge a complaint.
The impartial third party will help to mediate in order to
achieve a mutually consensual outcome. However, it is always
recommended that each homeowner engage in due diligence by
investigating on their own, any contractor prior to hiring any
contractor.
Any pattern of
repeated disappointments about a contractor within the HPCA will
be dealt with by the HPCA Director and selection committee and
will result in expulsion from the Alliance.
What is the
typical make-up of an HPCA contractor?
Most contractors
are small to medium size businesses that are family owned and
operated. Many companies have achieved awards and recognition
as tops in their respective fields. All serve the North Metro
area and are licensed and insured.
How can
companies become a member of HPCA?
